A Propos de l`Artiste

Laura Loret Patuelli a étudié à l`Académie des Beaux-Arts ainsi qu`à l`Académie de Mode et du Costume de Rome en Italie. Elle a travaillé en Italie dans le domaine du Design et de la Mode.

Elle a suivi plusieurs années le Mouvement Artistique Contemporain Italien, et a travaillé avec des artistes comme Achille Perilli et Piero Dorazio sur des projets de groupe.

Un sérieux intérêt pour la céramique est né dés 1994, lorsqu’`elle résidait aux États Unis, et a suivi des cours de Céramiste au Glen Eco Park (Md), qu`elle a complétés par des études des sculptures en céramique à la Corcoran School of Art de Washington DC.

Elle vit actuellement à Montréal, et partage un Atelier d`artiste a l’Atelier Alterre sur le canal Lachine, où elle travaille avec d`autres artistes céramistes.

About the Artist

Laura Loret Patuelli studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti and Accademia di Costume e Moda in Rome, Italy. She worked in the Fashion and Design industry.

Also she followed for few years the Italian Contemporary Art Movement, and worked on group projects with Artists such as Achille Perilli and Piero Dorazio.

She became seriously interested in Ceramics in 1994 when living in United States. Took Ceramics Courses at Glen Eco Park (Md), and continued to study Ceramic Sculptures at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC.

She currently lives in Montreal and shares an artist space at the Atelier Alterre on the Canal Lachine where she works with other ceramic artists.
